An online tool provided by the state attorney general will enable your elected officials and citizens to learn about the laws governing public records and open meetings in Ohio.
The training system will be unveiled Monday morning and will be open to the public, according to a release from Mike DeWine, Ohio attorney general.
The system will help elected officials comply with House Bill 9, which requires they receive training in Ohio’s Sunshine Laws, according to the release.
Representatives from the Ohio Newspaper Association and the Ohio Township Association are expected to attend Monday’s announcement.
