Tim Ryan to hold ‘Workers First’ rally in Vandalia Thursday

VANDALIA — U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Howland Twp., will hold a rally in Vandalia Nov. 3 as he campaigns for a seat on the U.S. Senate.

The rally will be held at International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 82 at 6550 Poe Ave.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the rally beginning at 6:45 p.m.

The rally is part of Ryan’s “Workers First Tour” to meet with “workers, community leaders, farmers, and business owners from across Ohio.”

“In the final stretch before election day, Tim Ryan will make stops across the state to meet with Ohioans and talk about his plans to reinvest in our communities and create opportunities to cut workers in on the deal,” Ryan’s campaign said in a release.

Ryan is up against Republican J.D. Vance, who will also be holding a rally with former President Donald Trump in the Dayton area on Nov. 7.

Both are looking to represent the state in the U.S. Senate, replacing retiring U.S. Sen. Rob Portman.
