Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Aliza Sherman: On 03/24/2013, 53yr old Aliza Sherman was arriving for a meeting with a divorce attorney in downtown Cleveland. While outside the building, the victim was found stabbed, lying on the sidewalk. According to a witness, Aliza was trying to speak but the only thing the witness could make out was "I'm dying". The witness called for medical assistance and Aliza was transported to Metro Health Medical Center where she died. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $100,000.00. Case Number 3055

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Angela Hall: On 03/22/2016, the skeletal remains of a 16-36 year old white female were found in a farm field next to State Route 58 in Huntington Township, Ohio. The site is separated from highway and drainage swale by border fencing. This individual was wearing a spaghetti strap dress or top, Victoria's Secret 38B bra and matching panties, a Peugot watch with white face, yellow metal numerals 225WT and a wire bangle bracelet. A stud-type earring was found and the individual had french manicure artificial nails with sequins and daisy pattern. These remains were later identified as Angela Hall. Case Number 2012

Upon arrival, officers located 18yr old A'yanta Jarmon, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot would. Ms. Jarmon was transported to a local area Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at 4:12am. Case Number 3728

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Allen Wright Jr: On September 8, 2022, at 12:44 a.m., Patrol officers responded to the 6000 block of E. Broad St. where there was a report of a person shot in the parking lot. Upon arrival, they found the victim, 25yr old Allen Wright Jr., who had been shot multiple times. The victim was transported to Mt. Carmel East where he was pronounced dead at 1:17 a.m. Case Number 3753

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Darren Harmon: On July 31, 2014 at 1:25am, 47yr old Darren Harmon was found lying in a grass area at 1024 E John Street, Springfield. The victim had been shot several times. He was transported to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries. Before dying the victim made a brief statement. Khali Amin Smith was also found shot to death during the same event at 1024 E John St, Apt. E. With a little help from the community this case could be solved. Case Number 3087

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Elijah Copley: On July 24, 2020, at approximately 2:01am, the victims, both Juveniles, were riding scooters eastbound on Rich St. at Dana Ave., when two unknown suspects began to shoot at them. Victim #1 was struck one time and was transported to a local area hospital by Columbus Fire Department Medic #17 in critical condition. At 8:08am, 14yr old Elijah Copley succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. Case Number 3554

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Danielle Greene: On Saturday, November 05, 2016, partially skeletonized remains were found along a creek bed in the area of Allen Road and U.S. 33 in Violet Township. During the investigation, the remains were identified as Danielle Leann Greene. Detectives learned that Danielle lived and worked in the area of Parsons and Reeb Avenues on the south side of Columbus. Danielle was last seen on August 17, 2016 in Downtown Columbus. Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Cody Pitts: During the early morning hours of March 7, 2015, Trumbull County 9-1-1 received a call of a man lying in the road on Orchard Avenue near North Main Street in the City of Hubbard. Hubbard Police officers were dispatched to investigate and upon their arrival, discovered that Cody Pitts, 26 years of age of Hubbard was deceased. An autopsy was performed and the preliminary results indicate that the cause of death was a single gunshot wound. The death has been ruled a homicide. The Hubbard Police, The Trumbull County Homicide Task Force, and the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate. Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Cecil Johnson: On July 30, 2016 at approximately 2:31 a.m., Columbus Police Officers responded to the area of 4544 Lakeside South on the report of a male that had been shot. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim, later identified as 26yr old Cecil R. Johnson, lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. On arrival, officers found 22-year-old Charles Wade, 9-year-old Demitrius Wall-Neal, and 6-year-old Londynn Wall-Neal, all suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, Officers found an injured female, lying on the floor of the residence, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 23 responded to the scene and transported the victim, later identified as 43yr old Brandi Crump, to Grant Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased at 3:14 a.m. Case Number 3522

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Bryce Persang: On Thursday, September 16, 2021, at approximately 5:42 p.m., Officers were dispatched to the are of 5500 Floral Circle South on a report of someone being shot. Officers arrived to the area of Norton Road and Floral Circle South where they discovered a male in the passenger seat of a silver Honda FIT suffering from a gunshot wound. Prairie Township Medics responded and transported the victim, 24yr old Bryce Persang to the area hospital where he was pronounced deceased of his injuries. Case Number 3665

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Brittany Stykes: On 08/28/2013, 22yr old Brittany Stykes was found murdered in her Jeep along US 68, south of Gooselick Road in Brown County, Ohio. Stykes' 14-month-old daughter was also shot in the head, but survived. There is a $50,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in the death of Brittany Stykes. Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Kenneth Jackson: On 1/12/2020 at 6:23AM, Patrol officers were dispatched to the scene of a shots fired, picked up by Shotspotter at the Marathon Station at 830 Parsons Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 27yr old Kenneth Jackson suffering from having been shot. Mr. Jackson was transported to Grant hospital where he succumbed to his wounds and died at 7:08 a.m. The suspect was wearing a black mask and black clothing and fled south and east from the location. Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Donald Fadley: On June 27, 2019, Patrol Officers responded to 1156 Pauline Ave on an unknown complaint. The caller advised that the female inside was dead, and that a male inside might be dead as well. Patrol arrived and found 70yr old Sharon Fadley and 72yr old Donald Fadley unresponsive inside the residence. CFD EMS 13 pronounced the female deceased at 3:06PM, and CFD Medic #19 transported the male in critical condition to an area Hospital. The male later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 9:19PM. Case Number 3504

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Fidel Rios Corral: On May 1, 2022, at approximately 4:49am, officers were dispatched to the 5700 Block of Cleveland Ave on the report of a shooting. Officers arrived at scene and found the victim, 42yr old Fidel Rios Corral, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Columbus Fire Medic 6 transported the victim to Riverside Hospital. Despite receiving lifesaving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 7:06am. Case Number 3719

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Zachary Hoeft: On Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at approximately 1:15 a.m., Columbus Police Officers were called to the rear of the McDonald's Restaurant located at 2520 South Hamilton Road on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers found an injured male, lying between the drive-thru ordering stations, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 823 responded to the scene and transported the victim, later identified as 28yr old Zachary Hoeft, to Mt. Carmel East Hospital in critical condition. At 1:49 a.m., Mr. Hoeft succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by attending physicians. Case Number 3514

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Damarion Dawson: On April 23, 2022, at 6:10pm, Officers were dispatched to 2845 Noe-Bixby Rd, Nafzger Park, on a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, 19yr old Damarion Dawson, unresponsive and lying in the grass. Officers rendered medical aid until the medic arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition. Despite receiving life saving medical care, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 7:07pm. Case Number 3708

While en route, the responding officers were directed to the 1600 block of Harvester Ln. to search for a person who had been shot. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim, 33yr old Mayfield Evans III, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid to the victim prior to the medics arrival. The victim was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition. Despite receiving lifesaving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 12:02 AM. Case number 3750

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Jasmine Johnson: On December 13, 2020, at 6:17pm, Patrol received a ShotSpotter notification in the area of 1851 Republic Ave. Upon arrival, Officers located the victim, 28yr old Jasmine Johnson, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Ms. Johnson was transported to Riverside Hospital by Mifflin Township Medic #132 in life threatening condition. Ms. Johnson later succumbed to her injury and was pronounced at 6:45pm by attending medical personnel. Witnesses indicated that an unknown person drove by the Republic Ave location and fired off multiple rounds, striking the victim. Case Number 3597

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Jennifer Cooke: On August 11, 2013, Grandview Heights police officers responded to 886 Woodhill Dr. Grandview Heights, Ohio, 43212, on a well-being check. The resident, Jennifer L. Cooke, had not been heard from by family members for an extended period of time. When officers arrived at the scene, they found an unsecured door, and Ms. Cooke's body was found inside the apartment with multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Grandview Heights Police Department is offering $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction in the death of Jennifer Cooke. Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Jessica Sykes: On October 31, 2022, at 12:24pm, Patrol Officers responded to the 2500 Block of Howey Rd. on a body found in a vacant house. Upon arrival, Officers located the victim, 36yr old Jessica Sykes, inside a vacant residence. The victim was pronounced deceased by Engine 16 at 12:33pm. Upon further investigation, it appeared as the victim was suffering from a gunshot wound. Case Number 3756

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Joseph Mullins: Portage County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Mullins' residence on during the early morning hours of 12/20/2014. Mullins’ wife was reporting that she arrived home on the previous evening, Thursday 12/19/2014, at approximately 21:30 hours. When she arrived home she found indications that Joseph had been there but was missing. With the assistance of family friends, Mrs. Mullins attempted to contact Joseph by his cell phone but was unsuccessful. A search of the area did not locate Joseph. During the investigation, blood was found by the detached garage that belonged to Joseph. A blood smear was found on a bedspread in the master bedroom that also returned to Joseph. Nothing in the house appeared to be missing or disturbed. On December 29, 2014, Joseph Mullins' body was found in the warehouse district of downtown Cleveland. His death was determined to be from blunt force trauma. Case Number 1931

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Kevin Constant Jr. On Friday, October 11, 2019 at approximately 10:05 p.m., Columbus Police Officers were called to 1053 Rosewind Drive, on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers found an injured male, lying on the sidewalk in front of the residence, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 7 responded to the scene and transported the victim, later identified as 26yr old Kevin Constant Jr., to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased at 11:32 p.m. Case Number 3523

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Marquelis Shaquan Barnes: On June 29, 2017, at approximately 1:56 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the B.P. Gas Station at 3140 E. Main St. on the report of multiple gunshots being fired. Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile victim on the lot who had received multiple gunshots. The victim was transported by CFD Medic 21 to Grant Medical Center in stable condition. Approximately one hour later, a second victim was located in the front yard of a nearby address. The second victim, later identified as 16yr old Marquelis Shaquan Barnes, was also suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased by CFD Medic 21 at 3:06 a.m. Case Number 3411

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Larry Leach: On January 5th, 2016 at approximately 1:50 PM, officers were dispatched to Leach Brothers Automotive for a male who had been shot in the back during a robbery.Upon arrival, officers found the victim (business owner, Larry "Joe" Leach), lying on the floor in the garage area, bleeding from a single gunshot wound. The victim was conscious and stated the assailant had a firearm and described the suspect as a male black wearing a red hoodie. The victim was transported by life squad to University Hospital where the victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries. An employee who was working under the hood of a truck in the garage area of the business stated he heard the victim come into the garage and yell "Help me!" He then heard a gunshot and found the victim on the ground. He said he never saw the suspect. Police K9s responded but lost the track in the rear of the business in the alley. Case NUmber 2026

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Leila King: On July 16, 2022, at approximately 8:41pm, officers were dispatched to the 3200 Block of E. Broad St. on the report of a shooting. A Good Samaritan provided aid to the victim until Columbus Police Officers, Columbus Fire EMS 14 and Whitehall Medic 152 arrived. The victim, 30yr old Lelia King, was transported to Mt. Carmel East Hospital in critical condition. Despite receiving lifesaving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at 11:07pm. The victim was in between two groups of suspects shooting at each other and was struck by the gunfire. Case Number 3734

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Lindsey Maccabee: On October 06, 2016, a female's body was discovered by a passerby on Lake Rd., south of Pleasantville Rd. in Fairfield County. The female's body was identified as Lindsey Maccabee who lived in the southern portion of Columbus, off Parson's Avenue. Lindsey was found unclothed with no personal belongings nearby. At this time, the location or the person responsible is unknown. Case Number 2035

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Linda Cowans: On Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at approximately 9:50 p.m., Columbus Police officers were called to 1275 E. 17th Avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers found an injured female, lying on the floor of the residence, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Maribeth Quinn: On Feb 12, 2016 at 3:04 pm, patrol officers responded to 5460 Carmichael St. Apt #210 after receiving information that a victim had been found deceased inside of the apartment. Homicide detectives responded and processed the scene. The death appears to be the result of a homicide. However the exact cause of death will be determined during the autopsy. Harris Avenue on the report of an unresponsive individual laying in the alley behind a garage. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, later identified as 35yr old Katrina Huber, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. On November 23, 2016, Ms. Huber succumbed to her injuries and physicians at Mt. Carmel West Hospital pronounced Ms. Huber deceased. Case Number 3361

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Anthony Merchant: On Thursday 12/2/2021 at 2:21am Columbus Police were dispatched to a report of a shooting at S. Highland Ave. & Sheridan St. Upon arrival, Officers found 58yr old Anthony Merchant suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. One gunshot to the stomach, right arm, and right leg. CFD Medic 17 transported victim to Grant hospital in critical but stable condition. Mr. Merchant succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on December 19, 2021 at 12:24am. Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Preston Bell: On December 27, 2021, at approximately 4:39am, officers were dispatched to the 1100 Block of Shady Lane Dr. on an unknown type of complaint. Officers arrived at scene and found the victim, 22yr old Preston Bell, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Whitehall Fire Medic 271 arrived at scene and pronounced the victim deceased at 4:45am. Case Number 3680

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Taylor Brock: On Tuesday December 18, 2018 at approximately 8:10 p.m., the Columbus Division of Police received a call and were requested to respond to 5626 Great Woods Blvd. Initial information indicated that a person had been shot. When patrol officers arrived 28yr old Taylor Brock was discovered at that location and appeared lifeless. The victim was pronounced at scene at 8:23 p.m. by Clinton Township Fire Medic 61. Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Samantha Stewart: On July 30, 2016, Samantha Jo Stewart was last seen alive by family members. On August 4, 2016, a rural property owner in Columbiana County, Ohio discovered the deceased nude body of Samantha Jo Stewart. Stewart was a resident of Weirton, West Virginia and believed to have traveled to Steubenville, Ohio to purchase drugs, prior to her death. Stewart was found approximately twenty miles north of Steubenville, Ohio. Stewart death has been ruled a homicide caused by blunt force trauma to the head. Case Number 3275

Upon arrival, Officers located the victim, 29yr old William Delaney, unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite administering lifesaving treatment, Mr. Delaney succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 4:03pm. Case Number 3723

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Sandi Roth: On January 17, 2017, at approximately 10:42 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the area of 612 S. Wheatland Avenue on the report of a woman being assaulted in the street. Upon arrival, officers were unable to locate the victim, who had apparently walked away from the scene. Approximately 20 minutes later, officers were dispatched to an address down the street on the report of an unresponsive female believed to be the one involved in the earlier run. Officers then located the victim, later identified as 29yr old Sandi Roth, unresponsive and unable to speak with the officers. CFD Medic 10 transported Ms. Roth to Mt. Carmel West Hospital where she was eventually stabilized, but did not regain consciousness. On March 19, 2017 at 2:45 a.m., Ms. Roth succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased by the attending physician. Case Number 3380

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Rycheous McKinney: On November 4, 2021, at 8:59pm, Columbus Police Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Willamont Ave on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers located the victim, 16yr old Rycheous McKinney in the rear of the location suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. Despite receiving life-saving medical treatment, Mr. McKinney succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 9:32pm. Case Number 3675

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Sayuri Yerena: On 12/25/2015 at approximately 3:59 AM, CPD Officers were called to the area of 2231 Courtside Drive on the initial report of a robbery in progress, then a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, the officers found two victims, both inside a vehicle, critically injured from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as 21yr old Victor F. Mendez-Paredes and 18yr old Sayuri Casas Yerena. Case Number 3350

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Willie Felder Jr: On January 11, 2020 at approximately 5:34 p.m., Columbus Police patrol officers responded to 4667 Refugee Road on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, 18yr old Willie Felder Jr, laying in the parking lot, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Felder was subsequently transported to a local area hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced deceased at 9:41PM, by medical personal. Case Number 3531

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Sharon Fadley: On June 27, 2019, Patrol Officers responded to 1156 Pauline Ave on an unknown complaint. The caller advised that the female inside was dead, and that a male inside might be dead as well. Patrol arrived and found 70yr old Sharon Fadley and 72yr old Donald Fadley unresponsive inside the residence. CFD EMS 13 pronounced the female deceased at 3:06PM, and CFD Medic #19 transported the male in critical condition to an area Hospital. The male later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 9:19PM. Case Number 3505

Unsolved Homicide Cases In Ohio Pamela Estridge: On Dec 18, 2014, at 7:07 p.m., Patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting at 2766 Stonehenge Dr. Apt. A. Upon arrival officers located the victim, Pamela Sue Estridge F/W/62, inside of this location. Victim was transported by CFD to an area hospital where she is listed in critical life threatening condition. Investigation indicates that the victim was shot inside of above location during a home invasion robbery. At this time the only suspect information is two or more male blacks. Victim is not expected to survive. Detective Glasure is the lead investigator. Update: On December 23, 2015, at 11:35pm, the victim was pronounced deceased as a result of the injuries sustained from the original incident. The victim was pronounced at Kettering Medical center in Dayton Ohio. Case Number 3351
