PHOTOS: More than 300 men and women disappeared in Ohio; no one knows where they are

Ohio Missing Adults Ronald Tammen was a student at Miami University. He was last around 8:30 p.m. by the dorm mom at Fisher Hall who had exchanged his dirty sheets. His roommate returned to the room later that evening. The radio was playing on Tammen's desk with light on, a psychology book open and his personal belongings (including car keys and wallet) were left behind. He was a native of Maple Heights, Ohio. Ohio Missing Adults Shelly Sue Turner was last seen in Dayton, Ohio on September 30, 2006. Her boyfriend, 54-year-old Harold Baker was convicted of her murder, felonious assault, and evidence tampering. He has maintained his innocence. Her body has never been found. She was reported to have been wearing blue jeans at the time of her disappearance. She wore contacts or plastic-framed eyeglasses. Her hair was long, straight, and with bangs. Ohio Missing Adults Cynthia Jane Anderson was last seen on August 4, 1981, at the law office where she worked on East Manhattan Boulevard in Toledo, Ohio. The law partners arrived back at the office after a meeting at noon to find the radio on and their desks prepared for the day. Anderson left her romance novel open on her desk to the only violent scene in the book, where the heroine was abducted at knife point. There was no sign of her elsewhere in the building and there were no signs of a struggle. Her purse and keys were missing, but her car was locked in the parking lot outside the office. She always kept the doors to the office locked. A buzzer had been installed at her desk to alert the shop next door in case of trouble. This was due to strange and harassing phone calls she had been personally receiving. She was last seen wearing a white V-neck dress with pink pinstripes, cinnamon-brown Leggs's pantyhose, and beige open-toed ankle-strap sandals. She has a chicken pox scar on her forehead and a one-and-a-half-inch scar on her right knee that is shaped like a fishhook. (Ohio Attorney General's Office)

Ohio Missing Adults Anna Zirkle went missing on Feb. 1, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. It was reported that she gave a friend, Troy Austin, money to put her two children on a bus to stay with their father, Derrin Williams, in Warren, Ohio because "she was tired of everything and needed a break." The two children arrived in Warren with Austin. Five days later Anna's neighbor reported her missing. (Ohio Attorney General's Office)

Ohio Missing Adults In September 2006, Kristen Anderson moved from her home in Wheeling, West Virginia hoping to leave behind an abusive marriage. She moved into a friend's apartment in Martins Ferry, Ohio. On October 1, 2006, at 1:00 a.m., her estranged husband, James, came to the apartment. A surveillance video tape revealed James carrying Kristen's body out of the apartment and throwing her into the trunk of his car. James allegedly bragged to friend that he had murdered his wife and her body would never be found. James then committed suicide. (Ohio Attorney General's Office)

Ohio Missing Adults Angela Kay Holsinger was last seen in the vicinity of the 1200 block of 9th Street in Portsmouth, Ohio. She left her home with an unidentified male acquaintance who has become the prime suspect in her disappearance. Angela's sister, Tina Holsinger, was murdered in July of 1995. Ohio Missing Adults Judy was last seen on Kent State Campus on May 24, 1978 around 2:30am. Witnesses told police she left a party headed for Engleman Hall which was only four to six minutes away. She has a small scar on the left side of her forehead and pierced ears. She was last seen wearing a red curly wig over her long dark brown hair (she had been goofing around with a red wig that was never found) a gauze plaid, yellow and brown blouse with blue jean mid-calf culottes a brown belt, and a trench coat, brown boots carrying a large, white imitation leather shoulder bag. Ohio Missing Adults Connie Erhardt was last seen on September 06, 2019. Connie is known to frequent the Carthage, Hartwell and Elmwood Place areas. Claudia Lopez-Escobar Claudia Lopez-Escobar was last seen driving a green 1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic Sport with black rims. The Ohio license plate number is FLT6869. She has not been seen since and her vehicle has not been found. She was reported missing on 3/23/2012. Christina Kleckner Christina Kleckner medical issues and was last seen on 10/1/2011 in Cleveland. She has suicidal tendencies when she is not on her medication. She was last seen wearing a black vinyl jacket. She has a scar on her left ankle from a dog bite. Nikki Lyn Forrest Nikki Lyn Forrest has been missing since she was 19 years old and was last seen in Piqua. Nikki has a tattoo of a Scarecrow with the caption, "If I only had a brain" on upper right arm. She also has tattoos of a moth from the move "Silence of the Lambs" on her stomach and a bat with a Celtic knot on her lower back. She was four and a half months pregnant at the time of her disappearance and may be in need of medication. Neal Louis Boware Neal Louis Boware has been missing since he was 21 and was reported missing on 7/24/2006 in Akron. He usually wears wire rim glasses and has a pierced left ear. Neal also has a scar above one ankle and growth bumps on both knees. He was last seen around 5:30 p.m. on top of a bridge on W. Thornton Street, between S. Broadway Street and Wolf Ledges Parkway in Akron, Ohio. He was wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and white K-Swiss sneakers. Neal has a medical condition and needs medication. Jacqueline Diane Lombardi Jacqueline Diane Lombardi in Howland Township near Warren, Ohio on 3/19/2011. She has also been known to stay in Painesville, Ohio. She has a tattoo of a chain with Italian writing on the top of her right foot. She was last seen wearing a tie-dye coat. She wears plastic framed glasses that are mostly brown and transition to pink. Brian Randal Shaffer Brian Randal Shaffer, missing since he was 27, was last seen at approximately 2:00 a.m. on 4/1/2006 at a bar near the Ohio State University Campus in the vicinity of the 1500 block of N. High St. in Columbus, OH. He has a tattoo of the "Pearl Jam" symbol on his upper right arm. He was last seen wearing jeans, a blue or green striped shirt and tennis shoes. Patricia Ann Adkins Patricia Ann Adkins was last seen leaving work at the Honda Of America automotive plant in Marysville, Ohio on 6/29/2001 when she was 29. She had on black steel toed boots and was wearing an all-white Honda of America uniform. The shirt is long sleeve with two red outlined patches-one path has the name "Patti" and the other patch says "Honda of America". Her necklace was a diamond pendant. Patti was carrying an 18 inch teal duffle bag with clothes, a key chain, a maroon coin pouch, and her Honda ID badge. Lisa Maria Szasz Lisa Maria Szasz has been missing since 3/23/2000 when she was 37 in Andover, Ohio. Lisa's vehicle was found abandoned on March 24, 2000 in a "no parking" zone at Youngstown-Warren Airport. She was last seen with wearing a wedding ring, a necklace with a cross pendant and bracelets. Angela Kay Holsinger Angela Kay Holsinger was last seen in the vicinity of the 1200 block of 9th Street in Portsmouth, Ohio on 6/2/1998 when she was 30. She left her home with an unidentified male acquaintance who has become the prime suspect in her disappearance. Angela's sister, Tina Holsinger, was murdered in July of 1995. It is not known if Tina's homicide is related to Angela's disappearance. She has the name "Rob" tattooed on her left shoulder. Angela has a scar on her left elbow and a scar on her back. Kimberly Ann Riley Kimberly Ann Riley was last seen in the vicinity of the 1600 block of E. 29th St. in Lorain, OH on 12/28/1998 when she was 19. She left the residence to go shopping with an acquaintance who is described as a black male, approximately 5'10", 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The vehicle they were driving was later found abandoned in Cleveland, OH. She has no fingernail on her left ring finger and has an appendectomy scar. William Larry Roland William was last seen with his half-brother, Deion Akemon (also missing), at approximately 10:00 p.m. around a white van in a parking lot near the Parktown Cafe in the 1700 block of Linn St. in Cincinnati, OH. He has a surgical scar on his right arm, on the right side of his chest and on the inner and outer side of his left knee. He has a tattoo on his upper left arm of a photo of a woman with "RIP" above the tattoo and a date of "8-4-2001 or 2002" below the photo. The tattoo may also have the name "Charlene Roland" below the date. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, long black jean shorts, Air Force One sneakers and a white baseball cap. The ball cap along with keys, cell phones and wallets of both individuals were later recovered in a dumpster on McMicken Street in Cincinnati. Dion Akemon Dion Akemon At approximately 10:00 p.m. on 9/26/2005, Dion was last seen with his half-brother, William Roland (also missing) around a white van located in a parking lot near the Parktown Cafe in the 1700 block of Linn Street in Cincinnati, OH. He has pierced ears, full dentures, a previously fractured arm and gunshot scars on his lower back. He was wearing a white shirt, long black shorts and Air Force One sneakers. He is from Memphis, TN and had been in Cincinnati one day before his disappearance. Michael John Hodge Michael John Hodge was last seen at the 4000 block of West 172nd Street near Puritas in Cleveland, Ohio on 3/6/2004 when he was 39. He was reported to have been seen leaving on a 10 speed bicycle. He has a scar on his left wrist. Michael has a tattoo of a skull with a long tongue on his inner right forearm. He also has a tattoo on his upper and lower left arm. He has four upper front teeth missing. He is known to hop on trains. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, t-shirt, white jacket, white athletic shoes, gray knit pullover cap and a blue canvas fishing hat worn over the knit hat. Josh has the following tattoos: tear drops under both eyes, "heartless" on his neck, a pyramid with an eye in the center on his forehead, a skull on his right shoulder, a clock on his left shoulder, a large cross on his back, "RIP Tristan" on his left hand, "death before dishonor" on his right hand, "money over everything" on his chest, and the names Jada, Josh, and Josiah.
