Outdoor dining reopens: Storms this weekend, but not total washout

MIAMI VALLEY — Patios are opening up in the Miami Valley, and if you are making plans to dine a la fresca this weekend, here’s what you need to know about timing of rain and storms.

It will be warm all weekend long. Morning temperatures will be in the 60s and our afternoons will soar to almost 80. In the evening hours, temperatures will stay in the 70s.

FRIDAY

Breakfast: Mild, dry and breezy with some sun.

Lunch: A few storms scattered in Miami Valley. Temperatures in the low 70s. Breezy.

Dinner: A line of storms is likely to move through. Storms could produce strong to damaging winds and small hail. Once the storms pass, it will dry out, likely from the northwest to the southeast. Temperatures will fall through the 70s.

SATURDAY

Breakfast: Warm, broken clouds and dry.

Lunch: Heating up, some sunshine, dry and breezy. Temperatures in the low 70s.

Dinner: There’s a slight chance for a pop up storm down toward Cincinnati, but overall, it will stay dry and mild. Late day sunshine is expected. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s.

SUNDAY

Breakfast/Brunch: The best chance for dry dining Sunday. Broken clouds, breezy and mild.

Lunch: Breezy, but quiet for most. Temperatures the mid-70s.

Dinner: Storms are expected to become widespread, especially into the evening. Highs will be around 80. Temperatures will drop into the 70s at night.
