A pickup truck full of fiber optics and other electronic equipment fell over onto its side on the exit ramp from Interstate 675 North to Colonel Glenn Highway, leaving the driver with minor injuries..
The preliminary investigation suggests the driver lost control as the vehicle was rounding the curve on the ramp, causing the truck to fall over and slide down the barrier wall, said a trooper with the Ohio Highway Patrol.
The truck belongs to CenturyLink, the high-speed internet provider. The driver had picked up a large amount of fiber optics and other equipment that were removed from the vehicle.
The driver was taken to Soin Medical Center. He was wearing a seatbelt, which the trooper believes prevented further injury.
