K9 Karson is officially back on the job today.
A Facebook page for the Wilmington police dog says Karson was re-certified last week and starts duty today with his handler, Officer Jerry Popp.
Karson was missing for 61 days, after he escaped his kennel on Dec. 23.
He was spotted in a field by volunteers on Feb. 22 and captured.
More than 900 people attended his homecoming party.
