Speedway in Beavercreek held up at gunpoint

Beavercreek Police are searching for a man who held up a Speedway gas station late Tuesday night.

Officers were dispatched to the station at 3991 Indian Ripple Road around 11:40 p.m. Tuesday on a reported armed robbery. Police say a man displayed a black handgun in the waist band of his pants and passed a note to the clerk demanding cash.

The man fled took an undetermined amount of money and left the scene on foot according to a release.

Police describe the suspect as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5 food 8 inches, weighing around 140 pounds.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.
