A 5-year-old girl reportedly went to a neighbor’s house nude, asked for help and said her mother was not home yesterday in Dayton.
Police were called to Wilson Drive just before 11 a.m.
The girl’s 25-year-old mother returned home while officers were on the scene and said someone was supposed to be watching the child.
The mother was told she would be issued a summons for a child endangering charge.
The child was not hurt.
