A teenager is recovering from a crash Tuesday morning in Fairfield township.
Emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle crash at shortly before 7:30 a.m. Ohio 4 and Headgates Road in Fairfield Twp.
A silver Kia driven by Naomi Shah, 18 of Fairfield Twp. was heading south on Ohio 4 when she was attempted to turn east onto Headgates. In so doing, she failed to yield to a 2015 Ford Escape driven by Margery Best, and the Escape T-boned the Kia, said Officer Mike Krznarich of Fairfield Twp.
Shah was taken by medical helicopter to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, but it is not believed that the injuries are life-threatening, Krznarich said. Charges are pending.
