Dogs are being used to help save other animals from wildfires that have ravaged Australia.
Stephen Hill said his shepherd-mix Patsy helped get all but six of the 220 sheep on a farm into a barn, NBC News reported.
A team of five detection dogs from the International Fund for Animal Welfare were deployed to help sniff out koalas.
One of the dogs, Bear, has helped find 15 koalas.
"Bear is one of the few dogs in the world able to find koala by the scent of their fur, which is a real asset to find these little survivors who are hiding in the trees," Aurore Lepastourel, a spokesperson with the animal welfare group, told Global News.
