RNC 2016: Bellbrook grad takes in convention events

For Bellbrook graduate Giles Allen, the Republican National Convention is like his Super Bowl.

The former Golden Eagle says some day he would like to be the Governor of the Buckeye State.

News Center 7’s James Brown spoke with Allen near the convention Tuesday.

“I’ve had the opportunity to come up, attend some events and come and see the city,” Allen told Brown. “This is a great opportunity for Cleveland and Ohio to display everything the state is.”

Allen is staying in the city with his girlfriend’s parents, who are Democrats, he said.

The Bellbrook grad commended Cleveland for its security and believes that once the convention is finished at the end of the week and moving forward, that most Ohio Republicans will be unified and throw their support behind Donald Trump.
