Multiple flood warnings remain in effect; Heavy rain continues into the overnight

(UPDATE @ 11:30 p.m.) A Flood Warning for Greene and Warren counties has been extended to 6:45 p.m. Thursday.

A Flood Warning has been issued for the Mad River in Clark County through 11:36 p.m. Tuesday

A Flash Flood Watch:

• has been extended for Butler, Montgomery, and Preble counties until 8 a.m. Wednesday
• has been continued for Clinton, Greene, and Warren counties until 9 a.m. Thursday.

DETAILED FORECAST

TONIGHT & OVERNIGHT: Showers will continue with flooding expected to cause issues through the night, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.

“Remember, never drive through flooded roadways, especially after dark. You may not be able to tell how deep the water is,” she said.

Temperatures will fall into the upper 40s by morning, with additional rainfall totals up to a half-inch possible.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with occasional showers. A breezy and cooler day is expected with highs in the upper 50s. More showers continue Tuesday night with lows down to around 50 degrees.

THURSDAY: We will see more dry hours mix during the day. However, there will still be some showers that push back into the Miami Valley, especially toward the evening. We’ll start to warm back up into the upper 60s.

FRIDAY: We should be back above normal temperatures during the day with highs reaching the middle 70s. Sunshine and scattered clouds will pop-up during the day. There is a chance for a few pop-up storms as well.

SATURDAY: Very warm conditions with highs reaching to around 80 degrees. More sunshine mixes in with a mainly dry day. Some pop-up storms or downpours could develop in the heat of the day.

SUNDAY: Another warm and muggy day with highs in the middle 80s. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny with an isolated pop-up storm possible.
