Woman taken to hospital after stabbing in Harrison Twp.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — A woman was taken to the hospital after a stabbing in Harrison Township Tuesday.

Around 6:30 p.m. Harrison Township deputies were called to the 3000 blocks of Haney Road to reports of a woman stabbed in the face, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

A woman was taken from the scene to Kettering Health Dayton, dispatchers said.

The woman suffered minor, non life-threatening injuries, according to a spokesperson for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect ran from the scene toward Salem Avenue before deputies arrived, dispatch notes indicate.

One person has since been taken into custody, according the the spokesperson.
