DAYTON — A woman killed in a Dayton fire Monday has been identified.

News Center 7 previously reported firefighters responded to the 200 block of Grove Avenue at 7:34 p.m. on reports of a fire with possible people trapped, according to Dayton Assistant Fire Chief Brad French.
Firefighters found heavy fire conditions on both floors of a two-story home.

Two adults had exited the house and were found on the roof. Firefighters rescued them.
Crews attempted to complete interior searches of the home under dangerous fire conditions but were ordered to evaluate due to the possibility of the building collapsing
Crews found a third person later who was identified by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office as 71-year-old Sharon Chenoweth.
An emergency demolition of the home has been completed.
