Medics requested a medical helicopter to the scene, however a mobile intensive care unit was expected to respond instead, according to emergency dispatch traffic.

It’s unclear how far the fall off the cliff was or what the woman’s condition is.

“The safety, security and well-being of our patients, their families and our associates remains a top priority for Mercy Health,” a spokesman said. “Consistent with upholding patient privacy, we are not able to discuss specific patient cases.”

Mercy Health did say all patient concerns go through a thorough review and investigation within the organization.
