West Liberty police seek help identifying bank robber

WEST LIBERTY, Logan County — West Liberty Police are looking for a man who robbed the Civista Bank on South Detroit Street this morning.

The robbery was reported around 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, when the robber came in armed with a small handgun.

“The bank employees stated that a white male approximately 5′5 to 6′ tall entered the bank wearing dark colored shorts, white shirt, a black ballcap, black sunglasses, and with a bandana covering his face,” police said in a statement.

The robber asked multiple tellers for money.

He ended up leaving the bank with an undisclosed amount of case and drove off in a white four-door car.

There were no injuries.
