Water main break affects services, causes road closures in Miamisburg

MIAMISBURG — Part of an intersection in Miamisburg is closed due to a water main break Friday afternoon.

N. Heincke Road is closed between Mary Francis Court and Almedia Court just north of State Route 725 following a water main break near the Kroger, the city said on social media.

The break was reported around 3:15 p.m. Friday afternoon, Montgomery County Regional dispatchers told News Center 7.

Drivers have been asked to avoid this area while repairs are being made.

A small number of residents are without water and have been contacted about the break.

The areas of Mary Francis Court, Almedia Court, and Heincke Road from Lindsey Avenue to Mary Francis will be under a boil advisory when water services are restored, the city said on its website.
