Washington Twp. to hold cruise-in ice cream social today

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP — Today, the Washington Township community is invited to a day full of ice cream and entertainment.

Located at the Washington Twp. RecPlex, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and the Washington Township Fire Department will be hosting an ice cream social for the community.

The event will be from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the RecPlex on Miamisburg-Centerville Road.

There will be ice cream, popsicles, complimentary hot dogs and burgers, games, and classic cars to check out.

All makes and models of cars and hotrods will cruise the grounds and be displayed, according to a release.

Some activities include painting a fire truck, shooting water at a pretend fire, and meeting Sparky the Fire Dog.
