VIDEO: SUV crashes into back of Miamisburg home

MIAMISBURG — Miamisburg police are investigating after an SUV left Rosina Drive and crashed into the back of a house on Woods View Court Tuesday morning.

Aerial footage showed the SUV crashed through several fences before crashing into the back of the home in the 1000 block of Woods View around 9:45 a.m.

Miamisburg police said they believe the crash happened after a medical issue and the injuries to the person who was driving were not serious.

There was no one at the house when the crash happened and it was not immediately clear if the house would be safe for the people living there to stay in.

Initially, emergency dispatch traffic indicated police were having a difficult time finding the crash scene, but it was eventually located on the backside of the house.

“It took a few minutes to locate as there was confusion from reporting persons to dispatch to officers,” police said. “Where the car ended up made it not readily apparent to responding crews, causing that confusion.”
