2 taken to hospital after apparent medical issue causes SUV to crash into home on Leo Street

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 9:38 p.m.:

Two people were taken to the hospital following a crash on Leo Street where an SUV crashed into a home in the 1900 block.

Investigators say the crash was caused by an apparent medical issue.

The driver of the SUV and one occupant of the home were the two people hospitalized.

The occupant of the home received non life-threatening injuries, according to crews on scene.

Police say the chimney of the home is expected to collapse once the vehicle is removed.

Estimated cost of damages has not yet been determined.

An SUV crashed into a home in the 1900 block of Leo Street in Dayton.

Emergency crews have arrived and are currently investigating the incident.

Initial reports indicate medic units were requested to the scene.
