3 injured, 2 arrested in crash on Ohio 4 in Greene County

Two adults were arrested in the two-vehicle crash on Ohio 4 in Greene County, both accused of assault on each other, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

Police and medic crews from Huber Heights and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base were dispatched to Ohio 4 south at Bath Road for the wreck with reports of multiple injured children around 5:45 p.m.

The two children and one adult injured in the crash suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries. All were taken to a local hospital.

Southbound lanes on Ohio 4 were shut down while crews handled the crash. They have since reopened.

Details surrounding the alleged assault were not clear. The names of the adults who were arrested were not released.

The Greene County Sheriff's Office is heading the investigation, according to a patrol sergeant at the Xenia post.
