DAYTON — UPDATE @ 3:40 (11/23)
Dayton Live announced Monday that despite previous plans to display the Rike’s Holiday Windows, the display has been cancelled.
“Due to the state of pandemic conditions and in compliance with the recently announced shelter-in-place/stay-at-home advisories from Montgomery County, we’ve decided the Rike’s Holiday Windows will not be on in-person display this year,” explained Dayton Live President & CEO Ty Sutton.
Dayton Live will be hosting a virtual experience on their website, which will include behind-the-scene glimpses of the elves and other characters.
The virtual content will be available on their website on December 2.
INITIAL REPORT (11/10):
Rike’s Holiday windows will be on display to the public for the holiday season.
Dayton Live announced new cautionary procedures for the displays in accordance with Montgomery County Health Department and CDC guidelines.
Patrons may register for a specific viewing time during the three week schedule: December 2-6, 9-13 and 16-20.
Masks and social distancing will be required and sanitizer will be in place.
