GRATIS — A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information about a January fire in Preble County now deemed arson.
On Jan. 28 around 3:30 a.m., the Gratis Fire Department and other mutual aid departments were called to a fire in the 100 block of West North Street.

This fire has been determined to be arson by the State Fire Marshal along with Gratis Police and Fire Departments.
The Blue Ribbon Arson Committee is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the fire.
