DAYTON — A Dayton man said his Uber driver left before he got all his stuff.

A man said that around 3:15 p.m. he took an Uber home from the Dayton International Airport after returning from a business trip.

The rider said he put his suitcase and black backpack in back of the driver's Ford F-150 pickup truck.

When the driver pulled up to his home, the passenger got his suitcase, but not his backpack, and went inside. When the rider came back outside, the driver had already left. Then, when he tried to use the Uber app to get in touch with the driver, the man said he couldn't get it to work, according to a Dayton police report.

The man said he called police only so he could report the lost property because it belonged to his company. The backpack contained an iPhone, laptap, tablet and chargers, the report stated.
