According to the Cincinnati Fire Department, the truck rolled off the overpass from northbound I-471 to Third Street in Mount Adams, landing upside down at the bottom of another road.

Approximately 30 rescue crew members worked for nearly an hour to remove the two people who were trapped inside of the semi, WCPO says. They were transported to an area hospital after being extricated.

Officials moved the semi, which was hauling gravel, from the roadway, causing the I-471 ramp and other roads to be closed during the process.

We’ll continue to update this story as additional details become available.
