Troy police are asking for your help in identifying the man suspected of stealing items from a Meijer, 1900 W. Main St., on Monday.

A man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt bearing the adidas logo was recorded by surveillance video cameras stealing a backpack, several pairs of shoes and a knife.
According to police, a second male reportedly paged the suspect in the store using the name "Michael Matthews."
Once the suspect was in the parking lot, he got in an older green van and it was driven off.

Thursday, the police department released photos of the suspect that appear with this news brief.
