Troy man accused of attacking man with flower pot

TROY — A Troy man is facing charges after he was accused of throwing a flower pot at a man during an argument in Troy over the weekend.

Andrew Wise, 34, faces charges of assault, disorderly conduct and other misdemeanor charges, an incident report shows.

Police responded to the first block of Pearson Court just before midnight on July 4 after the Troy fireworks.

According to an incident report, Wise threw the pot at someone standing on the porch of the residence and Ring camera footage captured the incident.

Witnesses said Wise approached the home and became confrontational with the people at the house.

Police said Wise appeared to be intoxicated when they spoke to him at the scene.
