Over a thousand remain without power in the region from storms, strong winds

Thousands are without power into Friday afternoon after a storm system and strong winds moved through the area Thursday night and overnight into Friday morning.

As of 12:30 a.m., AES Ohio is reporting just over 1,063 customers are still without power, but that’s down from over 30,000 early Friday morning.
