WAYNESVILLE — The third annual Bellwether Music Festival was scheduled to begin Aug. 6, but due to the circumstances surrounding the coronavirus pandemic organizers have cancelled this year’s event.

“The safety and health of our guests, artists, partners, and staff are always our first priority,” said Bill Donabedian, Bellwether Music Festival co-founder.

“We held in there as long as we could, and even looked at alternative plans such as drive-in options, but ultimately we couldn’t be sure the state of Ohio would be open for festivals this August.”

In the past, the alternative music festival goers were able to camp out in the Renaissance Park at the three day long event.

Within the next 30 days all ticket buyers should see a refund on their credit card. Organizers are looking at Aug. 12-14, 2021 as possible dates to hold the festival next year.
