TROTWOOD — Police officers and SWAT were at two separate scenes in Trotwood Thursday morning, both connected to a Wednesday night shooting investigation.

SWAT units were requested around 10 a.m. to assist in the police investigation in the area of Gardendale Avenue and Swinger Drive, as well as an apartment on Biddison Avenue, which is near where a man was reported he was shot around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The gunshot victim was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening, officers told this news outlet Wednesday night.

A SWAT unit breached the doors and entered the apartment on Biddison Avenue.
At least two people who exited a house on Swinger Avenue around 10:50 a.m. were detained, but it is unknown whether they were arrested or will face charges.
Police declined to provide updates on the investigation to our crews on the scene.
Investigators said further details were expected to be released Friday.
