Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs honored as ‘storm hero’

Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs is among those honored following the recent Memorial Day tornado outbreak.

Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services on Friday recognized those who went above and beyond in caring for those with developmental disabilities.

About Developmental Disabilities: Developmental disabilities are conditions that emerge during a person's developmental period (which, as defined by Ohio law, occurs between birth and age 22) that may affect day-to-day functioning. Such disabilities usually last throughout a person's lifetime. Mental health diagnoses alone are not considered a qualifying disability.

About MCBDDS: The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services serves more than 4,300 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and works to empower them so they can live productive and rewarding lives aligned with their goals and choices. MCBDDS is a Human Services Levy-funded agency.
