RIVERSIDE — A Stebbins High School teacher placed on administrative leave last month while Riverside Police conducted an investigation will not be facing any charges at this time, Riverside police said.
"At this time no evidence has been discovered of criminal wrong doing by the faculty member,” Riverside police said. "This investigation is now closed."
Emily Yost was placed on leave in January, when the district issued a statement.
“Our district does not comment on personnel issues. Incidents are thoroughly investigated and decisions are based on information gathered,” said Superintendent Chad Wyen. “Our primary concern is always for the safety and well-being of our students and the members of our school community.”
According to the Ohio Department of Education, Yost has a license to teach science for grades 7 through 12.
