S.R. 72 closes for construction in Greene County

GREENE COUNTY — Construction is underway on state Route 72 in Greene County.

The project is focused on replacing a culvert at the 16.81-mile marker between Varsity Drive at Cedarville and Fishworm Road at Clifton.

The closure will start at approximately 7:30 a.m. today and last until Friday, Oct. 8, according to a press release.

Motorists will be detoured to U.S. 42, U.S. 68 in Xenia, and State Route 343.

All construction work will be contingent upon the weather.
