2 sought in robbery of Speedway in Clark County

Police and sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who robbed the Speedway, 5050 Urbana Road, north of Springfield on Wednesday night.

The suspect, who robbed the business around 10 p.m., is believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s and has a receding hairline, according to police. He was wearing a white sweatshirt with the brand name "Carhartt" on the back.

He is believed to be driving a red sedan that is missing a right rear wheel cover.

A woman is believed to be traveling with him, according to police. She is described as heavyset with tattoos on her arms. She was wearing a black shirt and gray pants.

They were last seen headed toward the city of Springfield.

Officials are not disclosing at this time whether the suspect got away with anything.
