Some RushCard holders can’t access accounts

Some RushCard customers are having difficulty accessing their accounts.

A RushCard is essentially a prepaid debit card customers use to shop, pay bills and get direct deposit. On Oct. 11, some customers lost access to their accounts when the company performed an upgrade, according to a statement posted on the company’s Twitter account.

Some users have reportedly been unable to access their money for over a week.

The card’s creator, Russell Simmons, has been issuing apologies on his Twitter account and is asking customers still without access to direct message him.
