Overnight: Skies remain mostly clear with subzero temperatures. Winds relax but wind chills will still dip to a range between 20 and 30 below zero, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.
Thursday: Another frigid morning with wind chills and temperatures below zero. Wind chills will range from 15 to 30 below zero in the morning. Temperatures get in to the single digits for the afternoon. Clouds increase through the day. A quick-moving system will bring snow Thursday night into Friday morning. Road temperatures will be low, so snow will stick, with likely 1 to 2 inches for most and a few spots close to 3 inches.
Friday: Morning snow showers will move out quickly, but roads will likely be snow-covered for the commute. Temperatures finally improve as the arctic air mass moves out with highs reaching 30 degrees.
Saturday: Just as quickly as the cold arrives, it exits. There’s a chance to thaw out with sun, clouds and highs in the 40s.
Super Bowl Sunday: A quiet start to the day. Clouds increase and temperatures reach in the low 50s. Rain returns at night.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers. Temperatures will be in the upper 50s.
