Shooting victim found at Dayton convenience store

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 10:20 a.m.:

A shooting victim found at a convenience store on North James H. McGee Boulevard was shot in a different location before arriving at the business in a vehicle, according to Dayton police.

The victim was driving near the All in One store when he thought he had an issue with his tire, police said. He exited his vehicle, heard a pop, and realized he was shot, according to investigators.

Police and medics have responded to reports of a person shot on North James H. McGee Boulevard in Dayton Friday morning.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the All in One convenience store at 119 North James H McGee Boulevard after a caller reported someone was shot in the stomach area, according to initial reports.
