Sheriff’s office: Missing Champaign County woman found dead

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY — UPDATE @ 6:30 a.m. (Oct. 2):

Whitney Hostler was found dead Thursday, according to the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office. Two people have been arrested, including a woman who is facing murder charges.

FIRST REPORT (Oct. 1):

The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing woman last seen Wednesday night.

Whitney Hostler, 25, was last seen leaving a house in western Champaign County Wednesday and has not been in contact with family members since. Investigators said family members are concerned for her well-being after she missed an appointment.

Anyone with information about Hostler’s whereabouts are asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 937-653-3409.
