Several Clark County nursing homes see spike in COVID-19 cases this week

MIAMI VALLEY — New state data released Wednesday by the Ohio Department of Health shows a series of COVID-19 outbreaks in Clark County nursing homes and two other sizable outbreaks in other Miami Valley nursing homes.

Forest Glen Health Campus on Montego Drive in Springfield reported it has 18 residents and 2 staff members with COVID-19 this week at its assisted living and nursing home facilities.

At Northwood Nursing Home on Villa Road in Springfield, 25 residents and 2 staff members got COVID-19 this week.

Vancrest of New Carlisle reported 13 residents and 5 staff members contracted coronavirus this week.

In Greene County, at the Wright Rehab Nursing Home in Fairborn, 25 residents and 7 staff members were reported to have coronavirus this week.

In Mercer County, at Briarwood Village’s intermediate care and nursing home facilities, a combined 18 residents and 11 staff members were reported to have coronavirus.
