All lanes of I-75 reopen hours after deadly semi crash in Harrison Twp.

HARRISON TWP — Investigators have reopened all lanes of Interstate 75 South at Needmore Road following a deadly crash involving a semi Friday morning.

The man killed in the crash is Kevin Arnold, 62, of Fort Wayne, the coroner’s office said.

The crash involving a semi truck was reported around 2:40 a.m. Hazmat crews were also called to the scene for the truck, which was leaking fuel. Around 5:15 a.m., the semi caught fire and was quickly extinguished.

OTHER LOCAL NEWS: Champaign Co. man, 25, identified as victim of deadly crash near Sidney.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The crash shut down the right and center lanes into Friday afternoon. All lanes of the highway were reopened around 3 p.m.
