Salar owner plans to open sister restaurant in Uptown Centerville

CENTERVILLE — The owner of a popular Oregon District restaurant has announced plans to open another restaurant in Centerville

The new restaurant will be a “sister” restaurant to Salar Restaurant and Lounge, and will be located at 57 West Franklin Street in Uptown Centerville.

“The two restaurants are very much like sisters,” said Salar co-owner and executive chef Margot Blondet. “They’re going to share the same DNA but each has its own unique style.”

Construction on the interior began on June 1, with an estimated completion set for fall.
