MIAMI TWP. — One person was hospitalized following a rollover crash on Austin Boulevard in Miami Twp. Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of Byers Road and Austin Boulevard around 12:20 p.m. on reports of a crash with one person trapped inside a vehicle.

Police said an initial investigation found the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on Byers Road when they approached the intersection with Austin Boulevard. One vehicle turned attempted to turn left onto Austin Boulevard and was hit by the other.
The crash sent the white car on its top, trapping the driver.
The driver was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
