Driver escapes serious injuries after rollover crash in Trotwood

TROTWOOD — UPDATE @ 10:30 a.m.: 

No serious injuries were reported by the driver of a car involved in a rollover crash in Trotwood Tuesday morning, according to investigators.

The driver was briefly trapped in the vehicle before fire crews rescued them from the crash.

Fire crews said the driver wasn’t seriously hurt but would be evaluated by medics.

Potential factors in the crash were not released and additional details were not available.

FIRST REPORT

Fire crews have reportedly rescued at least one person after a rollover crash in Trotwood trapped them inside their vehicle, according to initial reports.

The crash was reported on Little Richmond Road, west of Olive Road in Trotwood around 10 a.m.

Initial reports indicate the vehicle was on its top and trapped at least one person inside. They were reportedly rescued from wreckage around 10:10 a.m. however their condition was not immediately known.
