Male victim shot on Wesleyan Road, suspect reportedly fled scene

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 11:45 a.m.:

Montgomery Regional Dispatchers reported that a male victim was shot.

There is no word on the victim’s condition, however.

Our crew on the scene said that the crime tape has been removed and police were leaving the scene.

UPDATE @ 11:18 a.m.:

A male suspect has reportedly fled on foot after a shooting took place on Wesleyan Road.

A local resident said the suspect has a history of violence and the cops had been called to the house in the past.

There was no word on injuries, but our crew on the scene did not see an ambulance.

Our crew on the scene reported that crime tape has been put up in the area.

INITIAL REPORT:

We are hearing reports that there may have been a shooting in the 1400 block of Wesleyan Road in Dayton.

There is no word on whether there are any injuries at this time, but a victim may have arrived at Grandview Medical Center, according to scanner traffic.
