Another victim of the 2017 Fire Ball ride accident on the first day of the Ohio State Fair has died, Columbus media are reporting.
Jennifer Lambert, 19, who suffered a brain injury, died just after 8 p.m. Friday, according to WBNS-TV (10TV.com), which also reported she was last at a long-term care facility in Geneva.
The TV station cited Lambert's attorney, James Arnold.
The Columbus Dispatch tried but has been unable to reach Arnold or Lambert’s court-appointed guardian, W. Scott Hayes, for comment.
Tyler Jarrell, 18, was thrown from a gondola and pronounced dead at the scene of the July 26, 2017, incident. Six other people were injured.
Lambert received a nearly $1.8 million settlement from the fair.
