The mass shooting early this morning in Dayton had a personal impact for U.S. Representative Mike Turner, who detailed in tweets how his daughter and a family friend were present in the Oregon District, just walking into the Tumbleweed Connection, when shooting began.
>>Dayton Shooting: Suspect and 9 dead, 26 wounded or injured in Oregon District
My daughter & a family friend had just entered the Tumbleweed Connection when the shooting began across the street. Both reported of the visible @DaytonPolice presence before the shooting and the bravery they witnessed as officers ran toward the gun shots.
