Recall Alert: Frozen fruit sold at Trader Joe’s nationwide recalled due to Hepatitis A concerns

Frozen fruit sold nationwide at Trader Joe’s has been recalled due to potential Hepatitis A contamination.

The product supplier, Scenic Fruit Company of Gresham, Oregon, announced it was recalling the frozen fruit “due to an outbreak of Hepatitis A illnesses.”

The recall includes Trader Joe’s frozen Organic Tropical Fruit Blend with best by dates of 04/25/24, 05/12/24, 05/23/24, 05/30/24, and 06/07/24.

“No illnesses have been reported to date, and all potentially affected product has been removed from sale and destroyed,” Trader Joe’s said in an announcement to their customers.

Anyone who has purchased any Organic Tropical Fruit Blend is urged not to eat it and discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
