Scattered showers transition to snow overnight; Freeze watch Saturday morning

DETAILED FORECAST:

FRIDAY: Cloudy, winter-like temperatures and mixed precipitation are all expected for the end of the week and into the weekend.

Some storms could develop as well which could bring some small hail. Highs today will only reach the middle to upper 40s. It will be cold enough during the night and overnight hours for precipitation to fall as snow.

SATURDAY: Feeling winter-like, especially early on Saturday. Expect cloudy, breezy, and chilly conditions with another round of mixed precipitation.

Early in the day, snow showers are likely. Snow transitions to mainly rain for the afternoon, but like on Friday, graupel and/or small hail is possible with the rain on Saturday afternoon. Temperatures will run well below average on Saturday in the middle 40s.

SUNDAY: A chilly start to the day on Sunday, but sunshine gives us a decent warm-up. A Freeze Watch goes into effect for Butler, Clinton, and Warren counties from 1 a.m. through 9 a.m.

Highs will climb into the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. Clouds increase a bit Sunday evening going into Sunday night.

MONDAY: Partly cloudy and mild. Chance of a few passing showers. Highs in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy and warm with the chance of a few showers. Highs in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy and warm with the chance of a few showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 70s.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy and warm with the chance of a few showers. Highs in the upper 60s.

FRIDAY: Sunny and cooler with low temps in the low 40s and highs in the low 60s.
