Premier Health plans to build new ER in Beavercreek

BEAVERCREEK — Premier Health plans to begin construction next month on a new 24/7 emergency department that will be connected to the health group’s existing office building near North Fairfield Road and Lakeview Drive.

Beavercreek City Council unanimously approved the site plan for the new facility on 16.8 acres during its meeting Monday night.

“It will be a privilege to offer the Beavercreek community expanded access to quality emergency services, as well as even greater coordination of care for Premier Health patients who live, work, or shop locally,” said Dr. Darin Pangalangan, an emergency physician and Premier Health’s vice president of clinical service lines. “We are pleased to have this opportunity to partner with the City of Beavercreek in planning an expansion of these services at one of our existing sites of care in the community.”

Premier Health said the new facility would bring 55 jobs to the 14,650 square foot building.

Developers said the existing building will be attached to the new emergency department by a covered walkway.

“The City of Beavercreek is excited to welcome a new emergency department to our community,” said Bob Stone, Mayor of the City of Beavercreek. “Premier Health’s presence in Beavercreek will bring jobs to the city and more access to health care for our residents.”

The new emergency department is expected to open in early 2022.
